Ah, Calli, I worked with her at Interval House for about 3 years. Calli and I were the people who remained in the office on holiday vacations, after everyone else had gone on vacations. We had several good dialogues ranging from food to religion. Calli was such a memorable personality. A hoot, a loving motherly type and a friend rolled into one. But aside from those traits, I always saw in Calli a soul that had already transcended this world, a very old soul who had lived far beyond her years. This was illustrated in her wise advice and ability to objectively view the many layers of a problem or situation always emerging with the most human of solutions. She was the entire package, exactly what we expect a true humanist ought to be. She has moved on and the people who will now know her in the next world are very fotunate indeed. -Eva Storrs
