Many of you may not realize that Calli was an extreemly talented embroideress. She could paint beautiful pictures on Jeans, jackets, skirts, and the like with thread! I remember a jacket she did for her husband Jim at the time, and it was a magnificant tree, filled with animals, flowers, and so many other beautiful symbolic objects. It covered the entire back of his jacket. Her talent in this area, free style, (no patterns), I have never seen duplicated in my life thus far. She was a multifaceted person, but many of you may not realize, that in her early 30's she could SEW (really paint) with colored threads, like a true artist. It was simply amazing!
