My brother and I used to kid her back in the 80s about her affection for her dog, Max. She took him everywhere and did everything with him. We used to say that if a robber broke into the house and told her to pick one of the three of her boys to save, (me, Michael, and Max), Michael and I would be very frightened because we knew Max was her favourite.
